God is Holy You are not
Perfection is necessary.
God does not think that you're a good person. You might think that you are, but God
requires you to be perfect. If you have any flaws whatsoever, you are not good enough.

"You therefore must be perfect, as your heavenly Father is perfect."

You are guilty.
Sin is an offense against God. The Bible says you are guilty. Justice requires death in
payment.
"For the wages of sin is death"
Romans 6:23a
Sin is bad news.
Your sin brings God's just punishment and makes your life miserable.
